About Us

I’m Tori — a Somatic Therapy Practitioner, Yin Yoga teacher, photographer, and Somatic body worker. I grew up in the Bay Area, California, going on meditation retreats with my parents, dancing in a junior modern dance company, connecting to the natural world while always feeling deeply called to the healing arts. I was introduced to meditation, yoga, and massage at a young age. These practices have remained with me throughout my life. I trained in a junior modern dance company from 3rd grade through high school, which led me to pursue dance in college, where I received an Interdisciplinary B.A. in Dance, Somatics, and Psychology from The Evergreen State College. There, I delved into Somatics as part of my self-led choreography studies and quickly found my way to Somatic Psychology. I propelled myself in this direction to better understand my own mental health, but even more so, I fostered a true calling to help others. After college, I completed over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in the Bay Area and Hawaii, including trauma-informed Yoga and Yin Yoga. I taught yoga in San Francisco before moving to rural Colorado, where I am raising my two daughters. I am now trained as a Psycho-Somatic Therapy Practitioner through the Integrative Psych Institute. I guide individuals through deep emotional exploration, helping them build an inner connection with their body and inner voice, release emotions, explore the body-mind connection, and establish a nourishing relationship with themselves. This work is deeply meaningful to me and has been transformative in my own life; it is my calling, and I cannot wait to support you on your healing journey.

About my work

My work is called Psycho-Somatic Therapy, which is a body-based healing modality that helps with a variety of mental and nervous system health concerns. It helps us understand our emotional complexities, triggers, patterns, and authentic inner voice. Through it, we can develop a healthier relationship with ourselves - we learn to connect our mental processes with our physical and emotional experiences and create deep integration and embodiment through the process.

Testimonials

"I’m so grateful for the support and relational container that Tori and her SE (Somatic Experiencing) work provide. Our session created the space that I needed to connect directly with my emotional and somatic experience around a difficult situation. Dropping into my body initiated a new way of relating to myself and this situation that lasted long after the session. I would highly recommend Tori for her grounded presence and compassionate witnessing!"
